**edit** After looking at so many of the other character sheets I feel it's necissary to add a few details under "abilities" that I previously over looked. sorry
4 feet 10 inches, dark brown eyes and honey brown hair. Built like a gymnast. She has a round childish face that makes people think she’s younger than she really is with coy devious eyes. She tends to wear light clothing like tank tops and shorts. She also has a pair of goggles and bike gloves that she puts on when she’s really serious.
Chosen by: Lady Ink
Gift: Construct (a ring shape)
Personality:
Terri is known to many as the girl without fear. In the face of tough odds or life threatening situations she laughs and pulls crazy stunts that at times threaten her own life and body. A smile seems to always be in her eyes and on her lips as if she moves and breathes the essence of life.
In reality Terri is actually very sensitive to the frailty of herself and the people around her and it terrifies her. Terri holds every moment of every day as very precious and significant. She runs away from her inner pain over her own limitations by pulling death defying stunts. She constantly tries to prove to herself that she can defy the odds and take control of any situation including “fate”. At times, she rejects help even when she needs it. As a result each time she fails she takes it hard.
Still for the most part the above paragraph is rather unconscious as Terri doesn’t think much about her actions. She’s impulsive and doesn’t think things through when she acts and she’s extremely reluctant to harm others. Terri is a person who can’t help but interfere when she sees someone in trouble regardless of the situation. All of which gets her into trouble a lot of the time.
She also has odd tastes and preferences that make her childish and quirky. She’s playful and brash and a little naive at times particularly when it involves herself. She’s aware of danger but she’s so full of determination and self confidence that she often disregards it. Most of all Terri loves to have fun and laugh and enjoy the world. Though truth be told her idea of “fun” typically involves life or death situations but its only fun if it’s ONLY HER facing it otherwise she just gets pissed.
History:
Terri is from a futuristic world full of all kinds of technology. There the tech companies are King and competition is high and nearly blood thirsty in nature. Due to the huge competition and the rise of super hackers in this corporate digital automated age rival companies have resorted back to old fashioned methods of saving important secrets in the form of the physical written word. When such precious information needs transference to different places companies employ an ITS team or Indiscriminate Transportation Service a delivery force that specializes in retro-tech (non-computerized technology).
Teams vary in form and size but the most important indispensible component is the ZIP or Zero Interface Personnel a person who literally works off the typical grid of the city. ZIPs are all athletic, young, and healthy and since they actually handle the package during transport are the ones at the highest risk to be hurt or killed on a job. Terri is the 3rd highest ranked ZIP in all of Access City (the crown jewel of the corporate age).
When Terri was a child her family lived in the Slum of Access City where people too poor to afford the luxuries of the high tech world live and work. Back then she had a very sickly body and was constantly bedridden unable to so much as sit up for days at a time she’d linger on the edge of life and death while her parents scrambled desperately for money to save her. One day her mother was killed during a scuffle between two of the top ITS teams of the time over a package. Of course the corporations made sure that the police could not press charges because the ITS teams were so precious to their business. A few months later her father struggling pitifully to earn enough money to keep his precious daughter alive over worked himself had a heart attack and died.
Orphaned and teetering down the slippery slope of death, Terri was saved by a woman by the name of Alexis Rothchild, rouge daughter of one of the tech companies that dominated the city. In defiance of her family Rothchild settled in the Slum and opened an ITS service. She took in the sickly Terri and got her medical treatment. A new drug that had come out that could suppress Terri’s disease and even enhance physical abilities in humans provided they continued to take the medicine. Such an expensive percription could not have been possible for Terri’s parents to get but Rothchild gave it to Terri without a word. Feeling obliged to Rothchild, Terri trained and became her ZIP putting Rothchild’s team “The Dog House” near the top of the list due to Terri’s recklessness and raw skills.
Abilities:
Terri is basically a normal human and set with in the technical limitations of that but thanks to the medication she has she can push her body to limits that would make normal people faint but that does not mean she is not incurring physical damage while doing it. For example she could leap two stories high if she really wanted to but her knees, tendons and muscles in her legs would end up over stretched and strained resulting in necessary recovery time afterwards. Terri has incredible mental discipline that lets her ignore pain but that doesn’t mean she isn’t hurt. She has to take her medicine every two days otherwise her condition will rapidly deteriorate.
All the same Terri is a profession ZIP and therefore has remarkable speed, agility, and quick reflexes. As a ZIP Terri is adept at stealth, speed and escaping so its difficult to corner her and she has a tendancy to run rather than fight. She has basic self-defense skills that mainly focus on blocking and breaking an opponent's grip. She prefers riding her bike but Terri knows how to drive boats, motercycles, and cars. Despite her toy weapons she's a great shot.
Weapons/ Important Items:
Back Pack: made of a tough synthetic material the straps and main body of the bag are also interlaced with micro wire to prevent the bag from being cut away or ripped open to spill its contents, it also makes it in some ways bullet and knife proof. If you hit it with a large caliber bullet at close range it won’t hold up but classic street war fare weapons at a distance aren’t going to do much. There’s also a buckle that goes across her chest connecting the two straps at the front to prevent it from slipping off.
Helmet: Yes Terri has a helmet. It looks kinda like a skate board helmet but it’s got extra goodies. The helmet is of more futuristic design so it is a lot more durable and stronger than a typical helmet. Knives and other such objects aren’t going to get past it but it probably wouldn’t stand up to a high powered assault rifle. It’s great with impacts though of course the way the concept works Terri’s skull may still be intact but her neck is another story. It also has a built in radio.
Grappling hooks: An old fashion set of metal hooks and various ropes (which act like bungee cords) She has multiple in case there’s no time to retrieve the hook which happens more often than you think.
Medicine: A clear plastic jar full of Terri’s life giving medicine. She has 200 at the start of the story and she has to take these on time. If she over does things then she has to take extra doses to keep her system from shutting down (and by over do things I mean she gets badly hurt like going into shock kinda hurt). If she doesn’t take the medicine her sickness will come back with extra force and Dr. Gerard has stated that she would be dead after a day.
Black Bracelet: The bracelet is made of a super strong alloy and is actually smaller than her hand so there’s no way to slip the item off. It’s about half an inch thick and another half inch wide and looks a bit like an old fashioned shackle. The item has an independent power core that can run for fifty years. Inside is a micro computer that monitors Terri’s biorhythms. When Terri needs to take her medicine either as per the schedule or otherwise it emits a high pitched beeping noise that actually hurts the human ear. This prevents Terri from sleeping through it. The beeping won’t stop until Terri’s biorhythms are normal which usually happens about a minute after ingesting her medication. The computer in Terri’s bracelet doesn’t have any ability to connect to outward computers and the properties of the black coating of the bracelet cloak the power levels of the item’s battery.
Bike: Terri has a collapsible mountain bike. It’s lime green and weighs approximately 20-25 pounds. Terri carries a strap that can be attached to the bike and put across her shoulders. Other than that it’s a normal bike.
Tool kit: Terri has a small emergency tool kit for bike repairs. She knows how to fix her own bike.
Paintball Gun: Terri has three guns and two of them appear at first glance to look like normal guns like the police use. However they’re just paint ball guns and thus they have a short range and limited accuracy. The third is a classic riffle type paint ball gun that she keeps in her bag. All three have pepper spray ball ammo. The pepper spray is highly concentrated and turns to dust on impact so even if Terri doesn’t score a direct hit the dust can still affect anyone nearby. Terri has loads of extra rounds in her bag.

LOOOOOT of Info huh? This is for audition. ^^ should be fun. On a side note I'm getting sick of my lack of ability to properly porportion my character's bodies. *sigh*
Hey, I just got your messages. If your my opponent then we are really in for a fun round, I mean out characters are Polar opposites xD
Your story of Terri is so details, you clearly have put a lot of thought into you'r character.(Her story is SO COOL!!!) I can't wait to try to draw her (Would you be ok If I draw a reference of her first in my style to see if you are happy with it?) I only ask because I will be drawing my entry as a comic, and want to make sure that I haven't missed anything out with her design.
Does she have her backpack (with gear) an bike on during TBOS?
Also yes feel free to draw up a refernce in your own style. I appreciate that thought. And I understand.
Yes everything listed here as apart of her items would be in the backpack that she took with her when she went out and ran into Lady Ink. Plus she also has her Bike as I mentioned. (Terri has this habbit of bringing everything with her when she goes on a walk because she can wander really far when she goes on these kinda walks)
Feel free to take some artistic licience with the gear as I can't draw it anyway. I imagen the helmet is more similar to a skate helmet than a bike helmet just out of neccessity. I imagen it having a beat up sticker on the side that says "Safety First" just out of a joke. XD
Visually you have a lot of room to play with because I simply don't draw that much.
In a city where information is heavily monitored, agile couriers called runners transport sensitive data away from prying eyes. In this seemingly utopian paradise, a crime has been committed, your sister has been framed and now you are being hunted. You are a runner called faith - and this innovative first-person action-adventure is your story. Flow is what keeps you running, what keeps you alive. Mirror's Edge delivers you straight into the shoes of this unique heroine as she traverses the vertigo-inducing cityscape, engaging in intense combat and fast paced chases. With a never before seen sense of movement and perspective, you will be drawn into Faith's world. A world that is visceral, immediate, and very dangerous. Live or die? Soar or plummet? One thing is certain: in this city you will learn how to run.
It's not the exact same as Mirror's Edge, yours is a bit different and gives a different perspective as to how the "runners" work and their roles in the world of technology.

The Future is one that might be fun to see for Sci-Fi.
Thank you.
Also, when you say her construct is a ring, do you mean a flat circle, or an actual ring you can slip on your finger?
Glad you like the character! I've never heard of Mirror's Edge what's that game about?

Oh well I doubt the two ideas are exactly the same. Thanks for telling me.
